Atlanta Public Access TV endorses Penis Power! April 17th, 2007
This shit’s too weird and it just goes to show what an incredibly different world we live in here in Vancouver than Atlanta Georgia. I’m going to not think about this video now.
Tomorrow morning i’ll be heading down to the passport office at 5am to line up so that I can hopefully HAND-IN my application by noon. Yes, it’s annoying with the Americans and their dumbass security policies on not allowing Canadians to fly-in without passports. But c’mon Canada, you knew this was coming. It’s not like you were blind-sided. Look at how you can find workarounds to this temporary but HUGE bottleneck in passport applications instead of sitting on your ass, pretending it’s business as usual, and passing it on to the citizens in the form of ridiculous wait times, missed trips, and general headache. Yes, you have me so pissed that I will temporarily unfreeze my blogging embargo! I hope you’re happy government of Canada.

Taking a Break April 15th, 2007
I’ve been coming up dry with material lately and haven’t been feeling the motivation to blog about this n that in my life. Work is ok. Booksprouts is in the works! Talkstrata as well. That’s about it in a nutshell. So I’ll be taking a blogging break for a bit until I start missing it. In the meantime, I’ll be updating occasionally with video entries but these will be much fewer and further between just cuz a). there aren’t that many exciting things in my life that i can tape on camera and b). Video editing takes a lot of time.

A day at grouse April 7th, 2007
Took up my new handicam to Grouse today with York. It was hot and crowded on one of the last days of the season. We crashed a lot and you can see it all here. Still no 360, barely a 180.

Google does April Fool’s April 2nd, 2007
It’s cool that one of today’s richest corporations still has a sense of humour and can mix it up with the best of them. Check out Google’s new product launches, The Tisp, which serves wireless broadband via your toilet, and Google Paper, a service which will allow gmail users to request paper copies of their email couriered to their house, thus making the personal printer obsolete.
Yesterday was my birthday party. Ally did an incredible job organizing a chinese feast at Rose Garden for 14 friends. We had crab, fish, lucky e-fu noodle, baked mango pudding, and one of my all-time favourite cakes, Chestnut from Maxims. Yum. After that, we came back, opened up gifts (thanks for the books, the psycho chocolate cat, and all the whiskey), and played some poker. York took me to the cleaners with some lucky pairs. To everyone who was there, thanks for the good times.
Today we played our finals in vball. Our team was kicking ass until our final game where we met with a team we’d never played before. They were like the Russian superteam jacked up on roids and we couldn’t touch them. That’s all fine and good but what pissed me off was that these guys probably lost on purpose to a couple teams so they could drop to our pool and play us for T-shirts. This is what’s known as “sand-bagging”. We could’ve tanked a few of our games strategically so we’d end up playing a bunch of noobs for t-shirts in a lower pool but what fun is that? So without sounding too much like sour grapes, i’d like to say “what a sad sack of losers”.
